One of many ideas.

Analysis of a business/idea I came up with and wrote about a while ago.

"The name of the proposed business is JSK Pvt. Lt. You are the founder of this business.

Have you ever wondered where used soap in hotels end up after the guest leave? Well they go in the garbage and end up being part of the already accumulated waste. This soap can be re used by re-batching and sterilizing. Soap companies can use this soap again and make new soap. The reason why the companies do this is because it saves them from high cost of production which gives them a higher profit margin. Our business is focused on retrieving the used soap before being disposed off and selling it to soap manufacturers in developing countries like Pakistan and India. This process greatly reduces waste and encourages re cycling. We also have plans to ship this soap to charity organizations in Africa that will distribute the soap to poverty struck areas. According to World Health Organization, 3.5 million children die in Africa (every year?) from treatable illnesses. Up to 65% of these deaths can be prevented by just washing hands with soap and water. Used soap can also be mixed with natural volcanic stone with high glycerin content to form an effective cleansing cream. This cream can be used to remove grease, paint, pine gum, ink and tar from the hands of mechanics, gardeners and artists. Used soap can also be used in different areas of the cosmetic industry.
The time to get into this business is now. The main competitor is Clean the World. It is a charity organization mainly based in Orlando, Florida. We will be looking for sponsors to help us financially in dealing with charities. Tax benefits are also provided to Hospitality charity organizations. Our initial plans are to partner with hotels in Chicago and expand our base gradually towards neighboring towns and cities. Our buyers who are currently committed with doing business with us are located in Pakistan, India and Malaysia. Overall the founders of the company will be directly involved in the affairs of the business and may change their duties. The initial investment, which is relatively low, will come from the founders own pockets. Looking at the overall picture, I think the business is very exciting and feasible."

If you're not lazy and think it's a cool idea... Why not implement it? Don't forget to include me.

shades of blue

I’m  sick of creeping on others. Not that I want to, facebook forces me to. It’s in our nature to be curious.

I hardly use facebook to connect with others or meet new people. Most of us use it to see what’s going on in our network. Scrolling through pictures and comfortably sipping on tea, I’m forced to open profiles and check what’s up with everyone else. I don’t want to do it. But everything is right there.  Newsfeed. Just a click away.  So easy.. so simple. I have to stop. Follow, accept, poke, tag, like… logout.

In the recent web 2.0 summit Mark Zuckerburg confessed that the future is all about being social. Everything around us is going to be social. But wait a minute… what about the people who do not prefer being social or maybe want to be slightly social. Constantly ignoring random friend requests and checking random links and profiles of people that you haven’t seen in ages is getting  a tad bit boring. Especially when you can click on some ones album outside our network and still go through all their pictures because they forgot to set their privacy settings ( or didn’t care to set them).  I’m glad that you had a good time partying with the finest people at the best place in town… But why is it in my face (ha.. “face” book).

We do not have much control on our information. Facebook is a bitch about it. I would really appreciate it if I could download all my facebook information. Why do I have to use facebook connect  to integrate my information with other networks.  I can individually copy everything and save it in my system but that can be an extremely time consuming task. How can I get ownership to everything I post and not worry about some fuck using my pictures for a facesmash like project. All we can do is to make sure all the information that goes on web should not reveal a lot about ourselves.  That’s what my paranoid bi polar self says.

Grouspawn.com: What if

Grouspawn.com? It's an extension of Groupon.com that deals with dating and fertelizing to make more babies.

So first you buy a groupon. Then go out on a date and use that groupon. After 9 months Grouspawn will give out a college grant to your baby who is now a product of the company. It's actually a  very interesting idea. A good marketing tool. But... it might have some unexpected results.

What if!

What if it's not the right time to have a baby and you were motivated to have a baby just because of a deal.

What if you've already figured out a way of how you will use the grant for yourself.

What if you name your baby "Groupon".

What if you're a jerk and you abandon the groupon baby

What if groupon babies start appearing in random trash cans because the parents didn't have the money to take care of them.

What if your baby grows up just to meet other groupon babies who never got the grant ( only 2 get once a year). Not so "G" in school.

What if you have more babies than you want just so that one of your babies gets a grant.

What if the groupon baby sells your soul at 50- 90 % off discount and takes over all the money you spend. You keep thinking that you are saving but by the end of the day you're hooked. It's a drug. You keep coming back for more. Things you don't need. Restaurants that you don't really need to go to. All those spas that you didn't really need ( although I'm in complete favor of the skydiving deal).... All I want to say is please don't screw up. Rob a bank. Not a baby.

A friendly note from Project Eye: The best way to save is not to spend.

Project Eye?

It's not about "connecting" everyone anymore. We live in a world that keeps us insanely busy. I've figured out a way that brings communication to life.

The official name of the project will be released when/if any development takes place. It's simple, convenient and appropriate.

Stay updated with the latest news about Project Eye. Thanks a lot!
